The difference

Other providers fill in forms. We check them.

Most online services simply take what you type and drop it into a template. With us, every document is checked for accuracy by a qualified solicitor before it reaches you.

  • Every document reviewed by a qualified solicitor before it is sent
  • If anything looks wrong or inconsistent, we catch it — not the Office of the Public Guardian
  • Should there be an anomaly, or anything you are unsure of, the solicitor will contact you to talk it through

In their words

Trusted with the things that matter.

  • I'd put this off for years because I dreaded the paperwork. Fifteen minutes at the kitchen table and it was done. The explanations made me feel I understood every word I signed.

    Margaret H.Harrogate
  • My situation was a bit tangled with a business abroad. Rather than let me get it wrong, they put me straight through to a solicitor. Honest, and worth it.

    David & Anne P.Bristol
  • Clear, calm and not patronising. It felt like a proper firm, not a cheap form factory. That mattered for something this important.

    Susan R.Edinburgh
  • David sat with us and explained everything in plain English, no jargon and no rush. We finally understood every word of what we were signing.

Common questions

The things people ask us.

Is the document legally valid?

Yes. We use the official Office of the Public Guardian forms, completed from your answers, with step-by-step signing and witnessing instructions included. You can also add a solicitor review at checkout if you'd like a qualified solicitor to check your document before you sign.

What if my situation is complicated?

Our questionnaire spots the things that need professional judgement, business interests, family disputes, questions of capacity, and puts you in touch with our solicitor instead of letting you proceed alone.

What is a Lasting Power of Attorney?

It is a legal document that lets you appoint people you trust (your attorneys) to make decisions on your behalf if you become unable to. There are two types: one for property and finances, one for health and welfare.

How long does it take?

Most people finish the questionnaire in around 15 minutes, and you can save and come back. Your documents are then checked by our solicitor and sent to you within 24 hours — the same whether you have ordered one document or several. Registration with the Office of the Public Guardian then takes a few weeks, which we guide you through.

Is my document really checked by a solicitor?

Yes. Other online services are form fillers — they take what you type and put it into a template. Every document we produce is checked for accuracy by a qualified solicitor before it is sent to you. If there are any anomalies, or anything you are unsure about, the solicitor will contact you to discuss it.

It takes 15 minutes. It lasts a lifetime.

Put your affairs in trusted hands while the decision is comfortably yours to make.
